Requirements
• Current NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration
• Minimum 6 months recent experience working in a care home setting (required)
• Practical BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Practical Manual Handling certification
• Right to work in the UK
• Strong knowledge of care home protocols and procedures
• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willing to obtain)
What You’ll Do
• Deliver person-centred care to residents in a care home environment
• Administer medications and manage medical treatments
• Monitor and assess resident health conditions and report changes
• Maintain accurate and detailed care records and documentation
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary care teams
• Support activities of daily living and promote resident wellbeing
• Ensure compliance with care home policies and health & safety regulations
• Provide leadership and mentoring to care support workers
